Congregation meeting Feb. 5

Members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will meet on Sunday, February 5, after worship, at approximately 11:30 am. Important decisions are before us. We will reflect on our mission together, hear reports from our various ministries, and vote on these agenda items:

• 2012 budget
• A proposal to change the number of church council members
• Church council members and officers, as well as Sunday School superintendent and synod assembly representatives
• A proposal for a community garden

All voting members are expected to attend. Guests and prospective members are welcome.

Sharing Place feeds our neighbors

Please join us in serving our needy neighbors – volunteer at the Sharing Place. Our food ministry distributes bags of groceries to disadvantaged families, as well as bags of ready-to-eat food for the homeless, on the last two Saturdays of each month. In February, that’s Saturday the 18th and the 25th. Volunteers gather at 7 am to begin making up bags and serving our neighbors. We also need help with the truck that brings the food from the Community Food Bank on Wednesday, February 15, at 8:30 am. Saturday evening Bible study

A new Bible study group is meeting Saturday at 5 pm in the church basement conference room. This is part of our ministry to the South Asian community – but you don’t have to be South Asian to participate. Join us every Saturday at 5 pm.

Holy Communion & Christian education

Every Sunday: Holy Communion at 10 am, Christian education at 11:30 am
